If you are thinking about technical diving but aren't sure, DSAT Discover Tec lets you try technical diving equipment and procedures. Discover Tec experiences can also credit towards the DSAT Tec Diver One (TEC40) or Tec Deep Diver (TEC50) courses.
Program overview
This program exposes you to the equipment, skills and techniques for Tec Diving diving. During this program you will experience the following:
- Diving Double tank systems, technical diving rig and technical plate and harness systems
- Experience diving with a stage bottle (or two)
- A chance to ask questions and dive with an experienced DSAT Tec Rec Instructor
- Basic Tec Diving Procedures
Program prerequisites
To qualify for the DSAT Discover Tec Diving Program, you must:
. Be 18 years of age or older.
. Have a Minimum of 10 logged Dives
. Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver
(or have a qualifying certification from another training organization similar to that of a PADI Open Water Diver).
